"Digital Workplace Trends 2012" is officially released to the public on Monday January 9th.
(If you were a participant, you received your free copy in December.) I've just published my first post of the year: Digital Workplace Trends 2012 - 10 key findings.
One third of the 456 participating organizations are in the "leadership class" because they answered "yes" to one of three criteria:
1- The intranet (or digital workplace) is essential for peoples' work.
2- Social collaboration is well-established in all or parts of our organization.
3- We have a "digital board" with strategic responsibility across all our digital channels, internal and external.
"Digital Workplace Trends 2012" shows how leadership class organizations have different strategies, actions and results compared to other organizations. I'll be writing more about this on my blog in the coming months.
For more information, you can read this earlier post about the leadership class, the multidimensional digital workplace framework and the two types of workforces defined in the report: floor-field and desk-office organizations.
You can also download a free copy of the "Digital Workplace Trends Executive Pack" which contains the full 6-page executive summary.
I recommend checking these "wrapping up 2011" blog posts about intranets, social business and the digital workplace:

- Sam Marshall on Review of 2011 in Intranets and the Digital Workplace
Have a good January!
